The Trail has led me to some interesting places... A few of the more interesting:
1) I've played a gig I needed to be ready at 4:30am
2) I've played a gig with 30+ high school cheerleaders on stage - - unplanned!
3) I've played a gig at a bikini contest - - using anything but material as a bikini (check the photos...)
4) I've played a gig for a wedding at a powerboat race
5) I've played a gig on a stage 6 feet wide accessible only via a rung ladder behind the bar
6) I've played a gig outside in 90+ degree heat
7) I've played a gig outside at night in 30 degree weather
8) I've played a gig with 20+ kids playing blow up instruments on stage - - planned
9) I've played a gig with a real "Soup Nazi"
10) I've played a gig where the guitarist passed out onstage
11) I've played a gig where the first thing the stage manager said to us was "There's a new sheriff in town" and proceeded to instruct us to not use our PA and confine ourselves to postage stamp size stage
12) I've played a gig in an airplane hanger with the Mayor and the Governor in attendance (SW Airlines Midway Airport) and
13) I've played a gig where one of the locals told the bar owner "You better have these guys back here or I'll put a cap in your ass!" Good to have fans, I guess...
And Many More!
They all have one thing in common.... It's All Been Good!
